Founder and Owner
It all began with a love of bringing people together. When I was younger, my parents would always both host and attend Nebraska Husker Football parties (GBR!). These gatherings brought a sense of “togetherness” that I came to love and appreciate. My mom would always make a tray of some kind to bring to these events. Then, while we kids would play around the house and outside, the adults would hang around in the kitchen, eating around the island, watching the game, and talking. It is with those memories in mind coupled with an extreme love of cheese that Dunes Cheese Gal was born. I’ve always been a creative person, and this really is an outlet for me. I teach English/Language Arts full-time during the day at Dakota Valley High School, where I graduated from in 2012! I am also an adjunct English instructor at Western Iowa Tech Community College. I am a busy gal, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I am married to the love of my life and we have a daughter named Mia and a dog named Gatsby. We live in Dakota Dunes. Cheers to 4 years of Dunes Cheese Gal and many more to come… thanks to all of you!
